# Sticky Header & Footer Troubleshooting

Please help! Really frustrated by not being able to set up a basic page structure with Sticky Header & Footer, and a main section that expands to fill the available space. Is there something obvious I’m doing wrong?

This is kind of a repost of a previous question (but with a new Loom video)

Hey, I’m not able to reproduce it, sticky is very tricky 🙂 As I found out when I tried to show you on the div 😃 Anyway, if you don’t find the error based on my suggestions from the video (check what element you have sticky on) you can always use `position:fixed` which is not the best practice, but also not the worst one 🙂 It may cause overlap on the bottom of your page tho.

hey Broberto! thanks for your response. Another member pointed out that my overflow for the form section needed to be set to SCROLL. 😃

That’s kinda weird, I mean, this would cause you to have two scollbars, which is a terrible pracice? but if it works then nice 🙂
