You have to use margin on the elements to achieve gap on the column element ---

For this layout maybe a flexbox with gaps would be a more viable thing? ---

It’s an option, but you would have to play with percentages for the widths of the elements. We’re hopefully going to have a go at the html grid element some time in the next year ---

We’re working on the grid display option currently which will have the gaps and plenty more options so stay tuned for more news ---
