# Request: Expose text module in a button element, similar to the icon

In a button, there are times when you want to hide the text but show an icon. You cannot do that now because the text is part of the button. If you have the button with no text, it’s still there an things aren’t centered. Also there are times when you want to add padding and other modifications to the text element, but can’t.
