Hey everyone šŸ‘‹ Weā€™ve improved the datagrid and made it even more customizable! Check out whatā€™s new šŸ‘‡ ## šŸ“ Add a custom cell type Starting today, you can use a custom cell type: 1. Select a datagrid in the Layout panel. 2. Navigate to _Settings ā†’_ _Column ā†’ Type ā†’ Custom_ to add custom cells. 3. Flex property accepts a value between 0 and āˆž. As an aside, could you share how you made the modal guide when I logged into the editor? Iā€™d like to do the same for my users when I launch new functionality. Looked and functioned perfectly. ---

This is excellent, thank you. If I change the cell type to Custom, it says ā€œTo select your custom cell, use the Layout view.ā€ If I have the Layout view selected, I can select the datagrid but cannot select anything individual within the grid. Is this a bug or is there something that Iā€™m missing? Hello everyone, Weā€™re sorry, there was a typo when we deployed to production. Custom type has just been fixed. Could you please confirm that it works on your end? @jreinagel, Youā€™ll ā€œon row selectedā€ & ā€œon row deselectedā€ in the triggers. Yes, I can confirm this works. 1. I changed a column to Type Custom 2. Switched the left navigation pane to Layout 3. I renamed the container from ā€œCell undefinedā€ to ā€œRegister userā€ 4. Dropped an icon in the container (Phosphor Icon, yay) 5. Added an action and passed in the selected row data to my modal (again, yay) ---

Iā€™m loving the new datagrid so far! Amazing work team! One issue Iā€™ve run into is dropdown selectors in custom cells. The menu doesnā€™t open on top of the rows so itā€™s not usable unless I make each row super tall. I can do that on click of the dropdown, but that feels less smooth than it should be. Iā€™ve tried the things I could think of, like changing overflow settings and z-axis, but no luck. a method to change the component without having to wait for them to change, and using fork mode and changing with artificial intelligence. but as the table is built on top of ag grid, you have to see if it has support for the features you want ---
