# PWA display mode hides Android navigation bar

By default WeWeb’s display mode in a PWA is set to full screen which hides old navigation methods in Android.

The below picture shows how it should be where navigation still shows.

To make this work properly you need to edit manifest.json in your built project files and change the default ‘fullscreen’ to ‘standalone’.

Would like to propose the default option to be standalone, and in the future allow us to change this option in the editor 😄

@Micah I tried this but still I can see the notification bar hidden still
