Hi everyone,

I’m having an issue with multiselect in my app. As you can see in the screenshot, when I select multiple values, the tags don’t stay on a single row — instead, they wrap into multiple rows, which looks terrible. I can’t seem to find any property to control this behaviour.

Has anyone faced this before? Is there a way to make the selected tags stay in a single row or show a “+X more”, instead of breaking into multiple lines?

Any ideas or workarounds would be really appreciated!

Hi Bernardo 👋

You seem to have modified something in your multiselect, I tried emulating your choices and this is the default behavior:

 ![Screenshot 2025-09-08 at 10.17.15](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex016/uploads/weweb/original/2X/c/c38e8abb4bcc8290ea0a1df9a15039e60e179e02.png)

The select chips are supposed to be inside the select and the select is supposed to keep growing vertically with the quantity.

PS - Now that I think about it, I think you are already trying to modify your inputs so they don’t expand. 🤔

I don’t recall an easy way of doing it, have you tried asking the AI to apply it ?
