# Language Selection Resets When Opening in a New Page

Hey everyone,

I’ve set up language selection in my WeWeb app using a dropdown. It works perfectly when navigating between pages without opening a new page (e.g., using an in-app navigation action). However, when the app opens on a new page (e.g., via a direct link, a new tab, or a hard refresh), the language resets to the default instead of keeping the selected language.

Has anyone encountered this issue? How can I persist the selected language even when opening a new page?
