Hi everyone,

I recently wanted to use a Lottie animation in a WeWeb project. I searched through the available WeWeb components but couldn’t find a native Lottie component—unless I missed it.

So I decided to vibe-code one.

![Lottie Animation WeWeb demo](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex016/uploads/weweb/original/3X/1/a/1a0944a4e439c6c77e699f584a02e65403b930de.gif)

After several rounds of testing and debugging, I’ve published the component as an open-source GitHub repository for anyone who might need the same functionality.

The component currently supports:

- Public Lottie JSON URLs
- Raw JSON and dynamic WeWeb bindings
- Autoplay and looping
- Playback speed
- Forward, reverse, and bounce modes
- Play, pause, stop, restart, and seek workflow actions
- Loaded, completed, loop-completed, and error workflow events
- Responsive sizing and accessible labels

**GitHub repository:**

> A responsive Lottie player for WeWeb with hosted .lottie, hosted JSON, raw JSON, and workflow controls.

To install it, connect your WeWeb workspace to GitHub and import the repository as a coded element from the `main` branch.

For now, the component intentionally supports **Lottie JSON only**. The `.lottie` format is not supported in this release.

I hope this helps anyone looking to add Lottie animations to a WeWeb project.

Feedback, improvements, and pull requests are welcome.
