# How to update Static collection manually (or at bulk)

Does anyone know how to update Static collection even manually? I think it will use republishing feature ? but I am not on paid plan so I can’t check by myself…

I am going to use Static collection because the collection is not mostly supposed to change but there would be times I need to make change.

Ideally it would be best to be able to update Static collection automatically or at bulk but I guess it is not possible now.

Hello, you have to set up a workflow to trigger with your frontend : for example you can have a “Refresh collection” button, that triggers on click a workflow which is “Fetch collection”

Also, the way to update Static collection is to click that workflow manually then?

You can have different triggers to update the collection : either on click or on page load

Looks like it is exactly the same process whether using Dynamic collection or Static collection? Anyway, thanks for sharing this!
