Hey,

I’ve been struggling with stripe subscription and I’d like to know what’s the difference between creating a production with reccuring price and making it pay with the weweb stripe plugin, and following the steps of this video: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gbxnc\_HSXYI&t=68s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gbxnc_HSXYI&t=68s)

I am doing the first solution but it doesnt seem to work, they only pay the first time and then don’t pay anymore. Anyone can help ?

Have a nice weekend,

Jacques

Hi @JacquesL 👋

I think you should be able to do it both ways though which way you choose depends on what you want.

Stripe has a dedicated article about the [difference between recurring payments and subscriptions](https://stripe.com/resources/more/recurring-payments-vs-subscription-billing) that you might find helpful to make the call.

Hey @Joyce,

Thanks you for your quick answer !

Unfortunately it didnt work so I had to do the way you did it in your tutorial but I still don’t understand why.

But I guess as long as it works everything’s fine !
