Hello community,

I don’t now if is it normal or if is it a bug but my form doesn’t work when is it in my repeating item. The vales of my differnets inputs are not detected so i can’t bind it in my submit workflow.

For me it is interseting to have the form inside my repeating item beacose I would like to use binding values inside my initals values of my inputs.

If somebody have a solution for me, i take it !

Thank you

> When inputs are in a repeated element (collection list, columns ecc) you need to keep track of the values (in your case the selected values) using variables and workflows. [This guide](https://community.weweb.io/t/are-form-variables-not-visible-while-the-form-is-in-a-collection-item/1138/6) explains how to do it. [This example](https://community.weweb.io/t/checkboxes-within-a-collection-list/1379/3) is similar, but using checkboxes. You can adapt the sam principle to work with the select or any other input.

Just out of curiosity, why does it behave the way it does? Your post was very helpful @dorilama, but I still don’t understand the underlying reason for this behaviour. Could you explain that perhaps?
