# Dropdown Animation Does Not Work

I’m using the native dropdown element:

I added an animation to it like so:

However, the animation doesn’t run. The dropdown appears immediately.

Is this a known issue and is there any way to fix it?

EDIT - weweb have confirmed this is a bug and will be fixed eventually, however, it is not a high priority.

+1 I think is a bug
