# Component Properties getting reset randomly

Hello everyone,

I wanted to check if someone has faced an issue where they find that specific component properties sometimes get reset to their default values randomly. I am not sure what causes it but it impacts all components of that type throughout the app. (eg: Placeholder color property for short answer gets reset to #000000)

Initially, I felt it may be an oversight at my end but it has happened a few times already over the last few months. Just wanted to see if I am alone here?

I’ve just noticed that advanced placeholder is missing in any new input field. However old ones are working properly.
