# Column element not present after Summer 2024 update?

I might be missing something, but I cannot seem to add a Column element after the Summer 2024 release. Was this deprecated?

Yes, it’s deprecated by the ‘grid’ setting for divs

How can I expect the deprecated Column element to preform in a live app both now and in the future? My apps are filled with this element …

It doesn’t impact your app or your editor. You’re free to use it as you like, but it won’t receive any updates other than bug fixes and it’s recommended to use grid from now on

To summarize, your columns will stay as they are
