# Bind text properties

How do I bind text properties like Size, Font family, Alignment etc… to a variable ? seems possible only for style, color, decoration.

Hi @AlainGioanni 👋

Indeed, you can bind properties when they’re a little plug icon.

It won’t include alignment but you could link a text element to a typography:

Typography does not seems to solve my problem. Looks like a class to speed development.

Use case is : the user of my app can create a page (like a donation form) and configure it (like does app like wix, squarespace…). On that page, there is a hero block (title, teaser, image). Can change text, color palette, spacing, border, shadow. BUT Cannot propose to change the font size of the title so it can fit well in the block, nor the alignment and font. All text properties deserve to have a “plug”, but Font size, font weight, font family, alignment are a basic.
