# Alert element - set the "type" to success or error?

Yep it used to have it - I had it from an old project so I copied it from there, that’s why I had posted this question: [Did Alert component loose functionality?](https://community.weweb.io/t/did-alert-component-loose-functionality/14787)

The old one was pretty nice it has different colors for different cases too like success, error, warn etc.
